Syrian alphabet

From UniLang Wiki

See here for the standard Arabic alphabet.
Syrian gives most of these letters their standard pronunciation. The differences can be summed up thus:
Ø« - t or (more rarely) s
ج - like French j
ذ - z or d
ظ - often pronounced like ض
Ù‚ - hamza Ø¡
In words that are considered literary, these letters are generally given the same pronunciation as in Classical Arabic.
In addition, there are a few extra sounds, used mainly for foreign loans:
Ù¾ p
Ú† g
‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ڤ v
Since dialect is hardly ever written, these letters will usually be spelled ب، ج/Ùƒ, and Ù? respectively
The vowel system of Syrian is somewhat more complicated.
