Spanish: Plural Nouns
From UniLang Wiki
Forming a plural noun in spanish is fortunately quite regular. The following rules can be observed:
- If the singular noun ends in a consonant (including Y), then the plural is usually formed by adding -ES
- If the singular noun ends in a vowel, then the plural is usually formed by adding -S
- If the singular noun ends in -Z, then this is dropped and -CES is added.
- If the singular noun ends in -IÓN, then this is dropped and -IONES is added.
