Throughout its 10,000-year history, the Okyyryn country was never conquered by a foreign nation. It conquered neighbor regions, but their languages did not survive.

- The singular prefix is dropped in some nouns.
- Verbs receive prefixes that indicate person and number, derived from the personal pronouns.
- Those prefixes can be dropped in 3rd person if the subject is a noun.
- Slight pronunciation (esp. vowel) and vocabulary changes.
7th millennium
- Long syllables are slightly stressed.
- The definite articles become number noun prefixes.
- Animacy is no longer distinguished in noun declension.
- The participal particles becomes a deverbalizing prefix.
- Future tense is expressed by modifying the verb stem.
- The verb mode particles disappear.
- The formality distinction in the 2nd person disappears.
- Position verbs become prepositions.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
6th millennium
- Impersonal pronouns are given with definite articles to distinguish number and animacy.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
5th millennium
- Ejective consonants become plosives.
- The gender/number noun prefixes become definite articles with nasal harmony.
- Case suffixes merge with noun stems, especially in the personal pronouns.
- The aorist stem is formed by changing nasality rather than making a consonant ejective.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
4th millennium
- Development of the Kooton alphabet in 3323.
- Short and long vowels are distinguished in their rounding quality, not only in their length.
- Animacy is no longer distinguished in case suffixes.
- Development of vocative case.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
3rd millennium
- Aspect verb prefixes become prepositioned particles.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
2nd millennium
- Dual number only survives for animated nouns, paucal number disappears.
- Animacy is no longer distinguished in dative case.
- Development of a future tense.
- Slight pronunciation and vocabulary changes.
