Conjunctions

Indirect Speech

The word order is indirect speech + uuktu (ಊಕಥಉ) + absolutive (who hears it) + verb (e.g. "to say") + ergative (who says it).

Relative Clauses

The word order is relative pronoun - relative clause - main clause, e.g. "whom saw I man" for "the man I saw" or "who me saw woman" for "the woman who saw me".

Verbal Complements

The word order is complement - main verb - ergative, e.g. "sing want John" for "John wants to sing.
