Nhängqäkupoqh is the proto-language for Låtuk and Gukhükheth.

The old Nhängqäkupoqh culture is considered inferior by the Låtuk people, because it was a feudalistic agricultural society. The Gukhükheth people are proud of their Nhängqäkupoqh roots and especially of the fact that they are far advanced now. That’s why they still use Nhängqäkupoqh spelling, although the pronunciation has changed.
Nhängqäkupoqh is called Ng'ngk'pok in Låtuk and Ngagagubokh in Gukhükheth.
