Present Simple

The Preterit is used as a Simple Past, but only for actions near to us in the time (and frequently they are actions we feel as near to us or actions that have a consequence in the present). These actions can be happened just once in the past or be continued. The preterit takes the "-ip" inflexion + simple present endings.

The Remote Past is used for actions that happened in the past and that are finished. These actions happened just once in the past. This tens uses "isp" inflexion + remote endings.

Subjunctive

The subjunctive Present uses subjunctive endings only. (There is also the Subj. Present Perfect and the Subj. Imperfect Perfect, they are like ever made using this constuction: vb. saviki (subj. present/imperfect + inf. + napse).

Compound Tenses

  • Future Simple = present simple of the verb maneiki + infinitive + za (particle)
  • Desired Future = present simple of the verb kaniki + zane (particle) + verb's gerund
  • Present Perfect = present simple of the verb saviki + infinitive + napse (particle) = it describes an action happened just a moment ago.
  • Preterit Perfect = preterit of the verb saviki + infinitive + napse = it describes an action that had consequences in the past or that lasted in the past).
  • Remote Perfect = remote of the verb saviki + infinitive + napse = it describes an action happened once upon a time, happened before an other action happened in the remote past. In fact we say "I had lunch, than I slept" --> "savo voriki napse, nani sanispie".

Compound Moods

  • Conditional = verb dilmiki(conjugated at the action's correct tense) + gerundive
  • Gerund = infinitive + noi (particle)
