A pronoun can be dropped if it is clear from the context, especially if it is the focus of a verb.
Otherwise the pronouns are very similar to the word class suffixes used for verbs.
- Pronouns with male/female/neutral distinction
- for animals: male pronoun déid, female pronoun déuz, neutral pronoun déud
- Pronouns for persons
- for royals and deities: délyegy / déjyeugy / dégyëiny
- expressing politeness: eghzügy / eghzuigy / eghdügy
- expressing disrespect: ngyiz / nyiuz / gyiuz
- Pronouns for persons with equal status
- 1st person singular: ódé / óud
- 1st person plural: dabiz / dabiuz / dabïz
- 2nd person singular: dub / duib
- 2nd person plural: dandob / dandoib / dandöb
- 3rd person singular: öundugy / önduigy
- 3rd person plural: döjyogh / döjyough / döjyögh
- for social groups: gyórïirh
- for nature: nghiugh
- for places: éjyigh
- for objects: raulyorh
