Låtuk Pronouns

The personal pronouns of Låtuk are the same for subjects and objects:

  • 1st p. sg. (I): pungo
  • 2nd p. sg. (you): kingo
  • 3rd p. sg. (he/she):
  • 1st p. pl. inclusive (me, you and possibly others): nåtrå
  • 1st p. pl. exclusive (me and her/him/them): purå
  • 2nd p. pl. (you all): kinrå
  • 3rd p. pl. (they): zu

They are only used to refer to people and animals.

The 3rd person pronouns derived from Fatþupũ, the others from the Nhängqäkupoqh person and number affixes.

There are no distinct possessive pronouns/adjectives, you just use the personal pronoun with the preposition kuk ("of"):
my house = "kingo kuk mi" ("me of house")
