The verb never comes at the beginning of a sentence. Whether you use subject-verb-object or object-verb-subject is up to you. As there is no distinction between nominative and accusative case, you have to use the right particle at the end of the sentence:

  • thau for object-verb-subject
  • thiaph for object-subject-verb
  • d'aj' for subject-object-verb
  • i for object-verb without a subject
  • aph for subject-verb without a object

The usual word order is OVS. If there is no object, it's SV.
If either the object or the subject is a pronoun rather than a real noun, use OSV. Except if the object is a pronoun and the subject is a real noun. In that case, use SOV.

If you want to express an English passive ("John was killed [by Mary]"), use SVO or OV.
