Halënah pronunciation is very simple and pretty regular.
Vowels:
A - ɑ (or similar)
E - e (or ə when unstressed)
Ë - ə (or similar)
I - i (or similar)
O - o (or similar)
Ö - ø (it rarely appears)
U - u (or ʊ when unstressed)
There are neither nasal nor long vowels. Also, there are no diphtongs, they are avoided by placing a velar fricative /x/ between the vowels, as may be seen in the propper grammar topic.
Consonants:
B - (like in English)
D - (like in English)
G - (always as in English "get")
H - (a voiceless velar fricative) x
J - (a semivowel, like English "y"
K - (like in English)
L - (like in English)
M - (like in English)
N - (like in English)
P - (like in English)
Q - (a voiceless uvular stop) q
R - (either a tep or a retroflex liquid)
S - (like in English)
T - (either like in English "tongue" or as a tep like in "somebody")
V - (like in English)
