Alphabet and pronunciation
The alphabet of Guno consist of 26 letters. Letters are more of less pronounced in English, except for a few.

| c | as sounded ch from Loch Ness at the beginning of a word; ts elsewhere |
| e | always like in egg |
| g | always like in girl |
| x | exactly like in Loch Ness |
| i | like ee in tree or like y in yacht |
| ŀ | as w in world |
| o | like in horse, but shorter |
| ơ | like o in more |
| r | like in Russian |
| u | like in boot, but shorter |
| ŭ | like in bird |
| ų | nasal u, as in Polish dżungla |
| w | as v |
| xs | as sh in shower |
| xz | as ch in chess |
| xg | az s in pleasure |
