Text 3b: Vacation

A: What did you do in the summer, Marja? Were you on vacation?
B: Yes, I was on vacation for four weeks.
A: What did you do on your vacation?
B: I travelled.
A: Where did you travel? To Spain?
B: No, I didn't travel to Spain. I and my husband (we) travelled to France.
A: Did you travel by airplane?
B: Yes. We were in France for two weeks. We saw and did a lot. I ate icecream, and my husband drank wine.
A: Did you eat and drink a lot?
B: I think that we ate and drank too much!
A: Did you do something else on your vacation, Marja?
B: I was also two weeks here in Finland. My parents visited.
A: What did you do, your parents and you?
B: They wanted to go to a restaurant, but I wanted to go to the beach.
A: Where did you go?
B: Well, we went to the restaurant. My parents don't visit often, so we did as they wanted.
