Instead of áraka, we could here have used ábeint.

Naglin fór tvørtur ígjøgnum veggin. - The nail went through the wall.

hóast (despite)

Hóast høgan aldur er hon uppi hvønn dag. - Despite old age, she's up every age.

um (a, around)

Vit venja eina ferð um vikuna. - We train once a week.
