Dalecarlian miscellaneous prepositions

Always controls the genitive.
Examples:
Han fór et sjús ('He went to the lake'),
Varum inti et hjáper fyr kunungiñum ('We were not of any help to the king'),
í [i:] ('in, into, inside, for, at')
- Accusative when answering the question "For how long time?": Spíddum í tvǽr vikur, ('We were sick for two weeks')
- Dative when answering the question "When?": Hoñ kam mitt í náttni, ('She came in the middle of the night')
- Genitive when answering the question "When?": Ljótn var hjar í kvelds, ('The devil was here yesterday night')
- Accusative when speaking of movement: Þeir gingu í skúlan, ('They went into the school')
- Dative when staying at the same place: Þeir gingu í skúlañum, ('They studied at the school')<p>
