Dalecarlian adverbs of place

Adverbs of place tell us about places and answer questions that begin with hvar? (= where?), hvert? (= where to?), hvar ... frâ? (= where ... from?) etc. They are usually divided into three groups:

(1) Words, that describe the place, where something is or is happening: Hoñ ir hjar (= She is here [at the place] ),

(2) Words, that describe a movement to somewhere: Úláf kumb hjôttir (= Olaf comes hither [to the place] ),<p> (3) Words, that describe a movement from somewhere: Ig far hjarfrâ (= I’m going from here [from the place] ) </blockquote> Examples of words, that belong to the 1st group:

aft (= back),
