3rd person singular personal pronouns have forms for the three genders (masculine, neuter, feminine). The accusative and the dative forms for neuter coincide with those for masculine.

Slash (/) denotes combinations of long and short forms (long / short). The bracketed long forms of the dative pronouns sound archaic, however 1st and 2nd person dative мене and тебе can still be heard in colloquial speech. Some people may drop the на from all dative forms in colloquial speech (thus the long dative forms coincide with the accusative ones). The 3rd person feminine dative pronoun is ѝ (и with grave accent). See also the remarks on accents in Bulgarian alphabet. >> Bulgarian >> Bulgarian grammar >> Bulgarian grammar: Pronoun
