Asinggu adjectives

Adjectives indicate the class of the noun they specify as a suffix:

  • culture/politics: -(o)pol
  • language: -(a)lang
  • nature/object/property: -(i)ting
  • emotion/person: -(u)man
  • technology: -(u)tul

The vowel is only necessary if the base form of the adjective ends in a consonant.

Comparison

  • comparative: mas + adjective
  • superlative: almas + adjective

Examples:
"John is taller than Mary" = Den (John) mas (tall)-uman dentu (Mary).
"I want the biggest stone" = Mi (want) denan almas (big)-iting (stone).
