Frequently asked questions about the Wiki
Why can't I create a wiki account?
Creating wiki accounts from inside the wiki was disabled, but you automatically receive a wiki account when you sign up for UniLang, which you can do here. UniLang membership and access to all its resources is of course completely free.
How can I find page XYZ?
If you can't remember the links leading to a certain page, you can always use the "Search" function in the left-hand frame, if you remember at least part of the page title or text.
How can I edit a page?

Who can I contact if I have questions about the Wiki?
You could
- send an email to wiki@unilang.org
- ask at the UniLang forum
- make use of one of the talk pages, e.g. Talk:Main_Page
What kind of neat features does the Wiki software have?
There are several interesting pages that can be found in the special pages section, there is a link at the top of each page. Useful pages are
- Recent changes: show which pages were edited last
- Statistics: some info about the database, e.g. how many pages, how many users, ...
- Popular pages: which pages receive the most hits?
- Most wanted pages: pages with a lot of links to them but which have no content yet
- Random page: for people who like surprises
Other useful features are the "Watchlist", which lets you mark pages you are interested in and which are shown in bold type in the Recent changes page, and "What links here" (at the bottom bar), which shows you which pages link to the page you are currently looking at.
Which software does the Wiki run on?
The Wiki uses the Wikimedia software, which also runs the famous Wikipedia. It needs MySQL and php to function.
What about copyright?
