Tongan countries and nationalities

In Tongan the word used to name a country is the same for the corresponding nationality, when refering to people. It’s like saying in English “I am France�? but it is totally accepted in Tongan. For things, we can use the prefix “faka�? before the country’s name. This is mostly used to show the way, the style. It’s like saying “the french way�? “à la française�?. Just the country’s name is proper in this case also. Here are some countries, continents and regions in Tongan:

Tongan lacks many names of other countries till nowadays. You can use the English equivalents or try to Tonganize them! Put vowels (usually "i") between consonants clusters and also at the end if the word ends with a consonant and change R to L, B to P, G to K, D to T, J to SI etc
