Rhine Franconian expressions

Morje! = Good morning.
Tach! = Hi!
Nâm(e)nt! = Good evening.
Un? = Hi, how are you? (showing friendly/polite concern about the listener's problems)
Mersi! = Thank you.
Alê hob! = Let's go! (also used as a carnival battle cry)
Avai ava! = Come on, you can't do that! / Come on, that's not true!
Avai här ava uf! = Stop it! / That's unbelievable!
Ô lëg! = Gosh!
Gê ford! = No way!
Gê mir ford mid dëm XY! = Don't talk about XY!
Gug(e) må då! = Look at that!
Mus das sin? = Do I have to do that?
Das klâbste ava! = Definitely!
Aj jå! = Of course!
Aj gud, dan... = Okay, then...
Ô/Å nä! = Oh no!
Vas gëbd's? = What's up?
Es is al. = There's none left.
Dû vârch's, ich han's gesîn! = It was you, I've seen it!
Uf dî bäm, dî Pëlza kome! = Beware, people from Rhineland-Palatinate are coming! ;-)
Haupdsach gud gës (gechafd han mir chnël)! = The main thing is a decent meal (we'll have worked quickly)!
De Hans is grêsa vî's Marî. = John is taller than Mary.
Ich väs(es) nid. = I don't know.
Ich han kald. = I'm cold.
