POPE (Mòmì) Origin of the Name

From UniLang Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Originally, the language was called fimo yos mi, which is Fimo Yos and means "difficult language". This was rendered into Mòmì phonetically as /fɪmɔ ɔs mɪ/ or /fɪˈmɔsmɪ/.

In Mòmì spelling, this became P̃P̃EPOT̃T̃PE or, after phoneme harmonization, PPEPOTTPE.

The latter is pronounced /mɪˈmɔnmɪ/, which was simplified to /ˈmɔmɪ/.

That's why the language is now called POPE (Mòmì).
