Op'on uses the Okyyryn Calendar. Only the names of the seasons and half-seasons are different:

  • sunny season = lsefßuut' lerujt'it'
  • rainy season = lsefßuut' kipuuchřet'
  • changing season = lsefßuut' ifuut'echp'
  • sunny weeks = kip'uuls lerujt'it'
  • rainy weeks = kip'uuls kipuuchřet'
  • final week = lip'uuls iňk'iijfinp


The days of the week in Op'on:

  1. k'iijf t'ifkiiřoofu = for the life forms
  2. k'iijf oonbřeřoofu = for the warriors
  3. k'iijf uuißoofu = for the moon
  4. k'iijf eelsunent'oofu = for the mountains
  5. k'iijf t'iineřoofu = for the sun
  6. k'iijf lulseep'fu = for the mothers (archaic)
  7. k'iijf p'iřiilsoofu = for the children (archaic)
  8. k'iijf k'iijfefoofu = for the national assembly
  9. k'iijf shiik'p'ep'fu = for the washing


Time units in Op'on:

  • rup = "hour" (90 minutes)
  • liingřint' = "long minute" (5½ minutes)
  • chuujß = "short minute" (20 seconds)
  • rilsiijch = "second" (1.3 seconds)
