The Nso`êä alphabet uses 26 letters that accidentally resemble Latin ones. There is no distinction between upper and lower case, though.

Vowel length is not reflected in spelling. Affricates are written using fricative letters, although the voicing distinction is lost in affricates.

When a glottal stop meets another consonant, the pronunciation can change, but the spelling doesn't.
