ʒ stands for a voiced postalveolar fricative in IPA.

It is pronounced like the S in "vision".

The same sound is written Ж in the Cyrillic alphabet, J in French, Portuguese and Romanian, Ž in many Slavonic languages, Ż or RZ in Polish.
