Angst haben VOR + dative ("to be afraid of something")
- Maria hat keine Angst vor Spinnen. = Mary is not afraid of spiders.
diskutieren ÜBER + accusative ("to talk about something")
- Wir haben lange über die Situation diskutiert. = We discussed the situation for a long time.
reden ÜBER + accusative ("to talk about something")
- Wir haben lange über die Situation geredet. = We talked about the situation for a long time.
Rücksicht nehmen AUF + accusative ("to respect/consider something")
- Du nimmst keine Rücksicht auf die Gefühle anderer. = You have no respect for other people's feelings.
sprechen ÜBER + accusative ("to talk about something")
- Wir haben lange über die Situation gesprochen. = We talked about the situation for a long time.
sich verabreden FÜR + accusative ("to arrange to meet at a certain time")
- Sie verabredeten sich für 20 Uhr. = They arranged to meet at 8 pm.
