Fatþupũ Pronunciation

Fatþupũ has 19 consonants and 15 vowels. The distinction between voiced and voiceless consonants only exists for the 10 fricatives.
A vowel is either short and open, long and closed or long, closed and nasal.
All syllables consist of a consonant followed by a vowel, nothing else.
Fatþupũ has vowel harmony. Front (i/e) and back vowels (u/o) are never permitted in the same word. The vowel a and its variants may occur in any word.
Stress is usually on the penultimate (second-to-last) syllable. If the penultimate is short and the last syllable long, the last syllable is stressed. If the last two syllables are short and the third last is long, the third last is stressed.
