Albanian (Shqip in Albanian) is the only language in the Albanian group of the Indo-European langauges.
Albanian is spoken by around 6.5 million people in Albania and the surrounding countries, Serbia & Montenegro (mostly in Kosovo), Macedonia and Greece and further more by around 300,000 people in Italy.
