Ainu for Beginners

Ainu is the language of the indigenous Ainu people of Hokkaido, Japan, yet is unrelated to Japanese. The number of native speakers has dropped to less than 1,000 in Japan, making it in danger of becoming extinct.

This course has been translated with permission from a course by Radio Sapporo. It covers the basics and extends into more extensive grammar. Since it heavily uses the Katakana, you will need to have an appropriate font installed.
