First to the meeting Saaropean and his girl-friend are still waiting for other participants, while leppie has already spotted them.
UniLang greetings The piece of paper andis is holding in her hand shows the UniLang logo and greetings in many languages.
Avataar and Lyle arrive Avataar and Lyle joined us, bab is taking the photo, and we are waiting for P. Pat, covered under the roof at the entrance to the cathedral, because it is raining.
leppie This is leppie a.k.a. Giorgio.
jta and Lyle jta (Julien) and Lyle (Lionel) sitting at a café. See that UniLang t-shirt? :-)
avataar This is avataarbg (Pavel).
andis and Saaropean andis (Andrea) and her boy-friend Saaropean (Rolf). And another UniLang t-shirt. :-)
Gina and bab Gina and her husband bab (Thomas). His UniLang t-shirt shows one of monkeywrench's paintings.
jta This is jta (Julien).
Saar and waiter The confused waiter (who was happy when some of us spoke French) serving our drinks. Oh, and I'm on the picture, too. ;-)
P. Pat This is P. Pat. (Annett). She arrived a little later.
P. Pat seated P. Pat joining the group and getting comfortable.
P. Pat again This is P. Pat (Annett).
Crossing a bridge From left to right: andis, Saaropean, avataar, jta, Gina, leppie.
No rain
As you can see, it didn't rain all the time. This picture was taken on a bridge over the Ill river.
Map of France
Map of Strasbourg
More walking
Another shot of some of the members walking.
Whole group
From left to right: Annett, Gina, Lionel, Giorgio, Julien, Pavel, Rolf, Andrea. Thomas is taking the picture.
Flags
The flags you can see there are those of Alsace and the EU. In front of them (not visible on the picture), there were France and Germany. And the flags of the other 23 EU countries over the rest of the street.
Near the temple Saaropean, P. Pat and jta wondering walking through a small street near the big temple.
Gina This is Gina, member of another community...
Reading and eating Background: The waitress that wanted to memorizes what 9 people had ordered. She didn't quite manage it, though. Foreground: Lyle reading a Chinese-German dictionary and Leppie eating salad.
Checking word Lyle was checking the word 盘旋楼梯 (panxuan louti), which means "spiral staircase".
Flammkuchen Our first "flammkuchen" is finally arriving. jta is pointing to bab, trying to draw him.
Gina and avataarbg Gina and avataarbg
P. Pat and Lyle P. Pat and Lyle in the flamm restaurant.
bab This person is responsible for most of the pictures on this page.
Flammkuchen eating Flammkuchen is a speciality from Alsace; a kind of pizza covered only with onions and bacon. And crème fraîche instead of tomato sauce.
Saar and gf That's my girl-friend and me. :-)
Artistic shot Note the special artistic effect of "shivering glasses" on that picture. It's not a coincidence, we actually voted before deciding who will be shot in that artistic way. :-P
Outside restaurant That's us outside the restaurant. From right to left: Lyle, P. Pat, jta, avataarbg, bab, leppie, Saaropean, andis, Gina.
In the temple Inside that big temple in downtown Strasbourg.
Sitting around Some people directly or indirectly sitting on or standing behind a bench at the bank of the Ill river. You should know who's who by now, this is picture 34. :-P
Walking around Walking around town again. The spotlights are used to illuminate the cathedral at night.
Leaving Leaving Strasbourg in bab's car. Saaropean and andis took a train to Sarrebruck two hours later, leppie stayed another night in Straßburg. No, wait a moment... This picture has been taken on the other side of the Rhine (i.e., in Germany). Probably near the train station where jta and avataar were thrown out...

Lyle: No, I was there =P Avatar was "thrown" at another train station. Poor Bab and Gina, it took them more than an hour to send me to Black Forest.
