I want to learn a language!

We offer a huge amount of free on-line language resources, on various topics such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and interactive resources.

What language do you want to learn?

What is UniLang?

The main purpose of the UniLang Community is to provide an online site where people interested in languages can unite, openly discuss, and find resources related to language(s), linguistics and translation.

We are an open non-profit organization, meaning that everything on our site is publicly accessible at no cost, and membership is also free and open for everybody. All our data, unless otherwise stated, is licensed under an open licence, the UniLang Public Licence, as opposed to a restrictive copyright!

I need help with something

UniLang has a large number of members, all coming from many different countries, and speaking very diverse languages. Chances are that you can find someone here who's capable of answering your question, no matter whether it's about a particular grammar topic, a difficult translation or a general linguistics question. The best way to get in contact with our members is by asking your question on our Forum, or on the Chat.

I'm looking for someone

If you are looking for a penpal, a chat buddy or you've seen a UniLang member somewhere and now want to contact him or her, then you should use our Search functionality, or you could browse through the Member list.

How can I help?

UniLang relies on your contributions so everything is appreciated! And there's always a lot to do! If you made language resources yourself, you can submit them so we can put them on the site for everybody to see and use. The easiest and most efficient way to write language resources such as grammar references, is using our Wiki, an open-public database that anybody can write in!

There are lots of other ways to contribute, you can for example translate the website itself, translate multilingual stories, make interactive exercises , translate phrasebooks.

I want to join!

You're welcome to join us as a new member! Membership is entirely free of cost and open to everybody. Please proceed to the registration page !
